Fall Equinox & Harvest Moon Yoga
As Summer comes to a close, we celebrate and embrace Autumn. Join us for a Yoga Practice and Meditation at the Ledwich Family Farm Vegan Sanctuary.
In this class, we embrace nature around us and the energy of the nearby animals that were rescued and are now safe in their sanctuary. This practice will be grounding; connecting to the earth, and balancing our root chakra.
Our physical practice (Asanas) will be Hatha-Vinyasa (a blend of poses that flow and poses we hold).
To honor the Ayurveda Vata season, the pace will be slow and steady; "The posture should be steady and comfortable" Yoga Sutra 2:46 Through our practice we will be building strength, practicing balance, calming the mind and boosting our immunity. Variations of poses are always offered during class, letting us choose what our body needs for today.
We end this class with a Fall Equinox & Harvest Moon meditation and journaling; -

As the weather gets cooler how can we build that inner fire within us.
This class is hosted by Bernie Feakes 500RYT; Bernie Feakes, is a 500+ hour trained yoga teacher specializing in body positive, adaptable and accessible yoga programming.
Bernie began her Fitness Instructor journey in 2016. She brings her body positive and self care passions into her fitness classes by offering variations so that students can choose what they need for that day. In addition, she uses body positive and inclusive language in her programming so that everyone feels welcomed, loved and accepted.
Bernie encourages her students to reach out to her with any questions they may have about their practice. Another passion of Bernie’s is the love for animals. Since early 2023, Bernie has raised over $2K for Animal rescues through Kitten Yoga, Puppy Yoga and other various classes/workshops. Annual Picnic With The Animals
Join us for another season of market fundraisers for our rescue animals! This is our annual picnic with the animals, and every year it gets bigger and better. Cheer off the end of the summer season with us, some bonfires, and good company. Enjoy supporting local and all the handmade artisans that come visit.

Craft Market Fundraiser
EVENT CANCELLED
Due to unfortunate circumstances we have to cancel our May market. We are so sorry for this, and hope to see everyone in June.
Trunk or Treat
Vegan Trunk or Treat
This is our free event for the year! We are encouraging families to decorate their vehicles, and provide vegan candy as a safe trick-or-treating space. Kids can trick-or-treat between vehicles, visit the animals, play with toys, as well as participate in activities planned for the duration of the event.
Each family that would like to provide a trunk will need to decorate their own vehicle, and supply the treats to be handed out. This event is for children of all ages, but is intended to provide a safe and small environment for littler children to experience Halloween traditions without over exhausting themselves.
Should you like to make a donation to the sanctuary for the event we would be very grateful. This will be the one time during the year we invite families to come without expected costs onto the sanctuary.
Thanksliving Hike & Vegan Pot Luck
Come for another beautiful fall hike with the animals! The hike is a guided tour on the property showcasing the beautiful prairie landscape that the animals get to enjoy everyday. The hike starts at 11:00AM, please arrive at 10:30AM to get everyone together and ready.
Afterwards let’s celebrate thanksliving with a pot luck amongst friends. The pot luck will start at 12:00PM. If you are just coming for the potluck please arrive at 11:30AM. Bring an ingredient list for those with allergies to be placed by your food. If your food needs to be heated please bring instructions, slow cookers are welcome. We can use the house oven to re-heat items but they will need to be kept in an oven safe dish.
All food provided must be vegan. Please see food sign up post for what you can bring!
It is ok if you’d only like to participate in the pot luck. Please bring a monetary donation that will go towards the animals, or other options are purchasing bird feed, pig feed or rabbit feed from the Inwood feed store. They have what we normally buy on our account to make sure it’s what the animals normally get!

Picnic with the Animals
Come join us on our animal sanctuary for a day of fun and vegan picnic with the animals! We are opening our doors to everyone. We’re gathering lots of food vendors as well as others for a full vegan market! We have even more fun things planned such as live music, rock painting and more.
Goats, alpacas, bunnies, dogs, cats and birds will be loose in the yard to enjoy your company. Watch your plates, the goats love snacks.
We are asking for a minimum donation per entry, this goes toward cares of the animals and any upgrades to the farm that the animals require.
Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for children, this is a non-refundable purchase but will be transferable to other events should it be cancelled due to COVID-19.
We will have a silent auction as well.

Due to COVID-19 there will be a limited number of tickets. We are taking all precautions to make sure everyone remains safe. We ask that if you feel sick, please stay home. We recommend using masks, though we will not force you to do so unless public health rules order it.

Due to tickets being a donation towards the animals they can not be refunded.
Only 100 people allowed in the property at one time, it is a come and go event.
